Skill Levels: 1-4
Monday and Saturday:
reserved for private lessons
Level 1: This player has never had formal instructions.
May have hit around socially, their reason for learning to play
tennis is strictly for recreation and exercise purposes. Most
children under 7 years of age are placed on this level.
Level 2: This player has played before and may
have had instruction, may be able to keep five balls in play.
They play only for recreation and/or exercise, might play other
sports.
Level 3: This player may have two years of playing
experience (high school, ALTA, club matches). They can keep ten
balls in play, but does not know how to construct points well.
This player relies on the forehand, not comfortable at the net.
Has talent but must be more dedicated to the sport to earn scholarship
or sectional ranking.
Level 4: This player has a state or
regional ranking, striving to earn a college scholarship,
has at least one weapon that they can rely on under pressure.
The player is very dedicated to the sport, plays 5 times
a week, with tournaments on the weekend.

Tennis Aerobics
Come and enjoy a low impact, fun workout experience. This iis
an opportunity for the club or recreational player to stay in
tennis shape for those marathon matches.

Adult "True" Beginner
If you have never picked up a tennis racket before, but have always
wanted to play, then this program is for you!. You will receive
high quality personal instruction from one of our USPTR-certifed
coaches.

Cost: $20/day; $200/13 week session
Friday Night Mixers
Every Friday night is an opportunity for the entire family to
network socially. These gatherings are fun filled with music,
dancing, eating and game playing.

Senior Round Robin (Clay Only)
Every Sunday is dedicated to those celebrating their Golden Years,
encouraging exercise and social events.

Need to fine tune a particular tennis stroke? Join our stroke
of the day program and make your weakness your strength.

For our seasoned, experienced players we feature drills and round
robin play.

Intermediate Drills
Are you ready to hone your novice tennis skills and take your
game to the next level? Join a focused drill session that will
work on all aspects of your tennis game.

Advanced Drills
So you used to play college tennis? Join the advanced group as
they drill and work on perfecting new shots/strategy.

Release and Hold Harmless and Emergency
Medical Treatment Agreement
The undersigned hereby forever releases,
discharges, and covenants to hold harmless First Serve, Inc.,
First Serve Foundation Inc., DeKalb County Parks and Recreation,
and any other person, firm, corporation, charged or chargeable
with responsibilities or liability, their heirs, administrators,
executors, successors, and assignees from any and all claims,
demands, damages, of any kind sustained, or that may hereafter
be sustained, arising out of the matters described herein or in
consequence of the participation in the recreational program sponsored
by First Serve, INC., DeKalb County Parks and Recreation, and/or
Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis Center. The undersigned hereby bind
their heirs, administrators, executors, and successors.
Further agreement shall apply to all unknown
and unanticipated injuries and damages directly or indirectly
resulting herefrom.
